These are also two things I see everyday. The first picture is a fire alarm that is often set offby daring students. Like the exit sign, it is also red. Strange coincidence? The second picture is from the elevator and is only to be used in emergency situations. To be honest, I have accidentally used the push for help button before. When reaching for the fifth floor button, my backpack hit the call for help button. I then have to tell security that it was just an accident. I have done this at least two times this year. I think the yellow outline of the button is interesting.
Why is it not red? I think yellow is a mellow, soothing color that represents safety and care. Perhaps this explains why the outline color is yellow.
